Blackjack Rules

  • The value of cards - Ace is 1 or 11 whichever suits your hand the best. Cards 2- 9 bear the face value of the cards they represent. 10, Jack, Queen and King are all valued at 10.

  • When your first two cards score 21, which is with an Ace and a card valued at 10, it is Blackjack.

  • Blackjack beats 21. Blackjack against Blackjack is a tie.

  • Surrender - This is played before any other choices and it means withdrawing from the game for the cost of half of your bet.

  • Hit is when the player requests a dealer to serve him an additional card.

  • Stand is when a player decides not to draw a card.

  • Double Down is when a player has two hands he can use that to double his bet. He requires only one single extra card. You can place a bet amounting to the original.

  • Splitting pairs - In this if you are dealt two similar score cards, you can split them and play both hands separately. You must then place a bet on the newly split hand that amounts to the original bet.
